The Tree Company are among the most respected tree service providers in Melbourne, operating out of three depots (Surrey Hills, Preston and Flemington).
We now employ approximately 75 passionate staff and currently operate: 14 trucks and chippers, 6 elevated work platforms, 2 tree planting & watering trucks, 12 utilities, 6 tip trucks, 2 excavators, 1 articulated loader, 2 Kanga loaders, 6 stump grinders, chainsaws (many now battery-powered), climbing & rigging equipment, plant health care equipment, habitat creation trailer, etc.
Tom Aldous
Tom completed his Advanced Diploma in Horticulture/Arboriculture at the University of Melbourne and spent 4 years working with respected arborists in Melbourne and London.
In 2000 Tom founded The Tree Company which, over the past 20 years, has grown from small beginnings to its current stable client base including 9 local councils, Parks Victoria, DELWP, Defence (Ventia), golf courses, corporate companies, schools, etc.
Carl Dalla Riva
Carl Dalla Riva (far left) joined The Tree Company in 2013 in the role of Operations Manager and Senior Consulting Arborist.
Carl became Director in 2018 and is a qualified and very respected Arborist with many years industry experience with local council and private sectors. Carl brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to our organisation, particularly in the administration and management of key clients and council contracts.
